Mehera and Bhooty

March, 1989. I painted Mehera and Bhooty and another painting: Mehera and Meher Baba on a Swing in March, 1989, just before Mehera died in May, 1989. These were the last paintings I did during that most joyful period between September, 1973 and May, 1989, when I had the great blessing to have access to her physically. Bhooty was a Tibetan Mastiff that Meher Baba brought from Kashmir, India.
