Mehera and Meher Baba

1973. This painting was done for Mehera Irani's birthday in 1973 on my first trip to India. It just came out of me as if I painted with a "magic wand". I learned that painting can be effortless. Without the mind being involved, I could be a vehicle for the work to flow through.
